 Mill scale, often shortened to just scale,  is the flaky surface of hot rolled steel, consisting of the mixed iron  oxides iron oxide, iron oxide, and iron oxide. Mill  scale is formed on the outer surfaces of plates, sheets or profiles  when they are produced by passing red hot iron or steel billets through  rolling mills.  

 Foundry coke is part of the mixture for melting of cast irons in coke  oven and coke oven gas furnaces It is obtained by sieving coal  coke. Performing the function of fuel and providing the necessary heat,  foundry coke has a significant impact on the stability of the melting  process and the temperature of the cast iron as well as other uses.  

 Carbon anode scrap is a valuable but often overlooked by-product of  aluminum production. It refers to the residual part after the prebaked  anode carbon block is used on the electrolytic cell.
